Meeting rooms

There are several meeting facilities available to suit various size groups.  There is more information about individual meeting space on our Meetings page.

Tabernacle/Meeting Hall
There is also a large meeting hall that seats up to 1,000 people for very large events.  It is used year-round.  The building has heating but no air conditioning. Various groups have used it for the following:
  • Worship
  • Training/Conferences
  • Plays
  • Concerts

Cost per day: $1 per person ($200 minimum)

We have a wide variety of accomodations available to suit almost any size event.  Below are some of the facilities that we have.

Lodging

On-grounds lodging

Cabins (small to medium sized)
Twin beds in a variety of single and bunk styles. 

  • Year-round (heat and air) with in-cabin bathrooms:       10 beds
$15 per person, $30 minimum

  • Year-round (heat and air) with community bathrooms:   84 beds
$10 per person, $20 minimum per cabin

  • Seasonal (no head or air) with community bathrooms:  71 beds
$8 per person, $16 minimum per cabin

                                                          Total beds available: 165

Tent/RV Camping
  • Tent camping available with fire pits in designated areas. Cost: $2 per person
  • RV electrical hookups.  Cost:  $10 per day (elec. & water, no a/c, no dump station)
  • Bathhouses available

Off-grounds lodging
Several local hotels have shuttle services.  Prior arrangements by your group would be necessary.

Outdoor Activities

We have a wide variety of opportunities for many age groups to enjoy the outdoors.

Meals

Meals are the responsibility of the group making the reservation.

Dining Hall has a full commercial-sized kitchen.
Hickory Hall has a large refrigerator and microwave.
Some overnight cabins have small refrigerators and microwaves.

Caterers that have expressed an interest in providing services to Forest Park events are listed below:

Core Reservation

Groups may reserve all core buildings Dining Hall, Hickory Hall, Tabernacle, Departmental Building, and overnight accommodations for 50 for $1000 per day. 

If the group desires exclusive use of the Park, there is an additional $100 per day.
